A YouTuber made his claims about Apple’s durability Apple Watch Ultra To test sapphire crystal glass, test it by subjecting it to a drop test, a jar of nails, and repeated blows with a hammer.
TechRaxA popular channel to test the durability of products tested the Apple Watch Ultra by dropping it from a height of about 4 feet. The Apple Watch Ultra was mostly unscathed except for some scratches near the titanium case from the drop. Then, the Apple Watch Ultra was mixed in a nail polish, and again, no visible marks were left.
TechRax also tested the durability of the Apple Watch Ultra by repeatedly hitting the sapphire crystal display with a hammer. In testing, the clock withstood repeated hammer blows until it finally cracked after repeated blows, only after the table was first slightly damaged.
Although the screen of the Apple Watch Ultra was initially undamaged, the watch did not turn on after repeated impacts. A burn-in failure may indicate that some internal components may have been damaged, even though the glass may not have broken initially. Of course, the test is unrealistic to describe the typical usage situation of the “Apple Watch Ultra”, but it may reassure some customers about the strength of the sapphire crystal display.
Apple claims that the Apple Watch Ultra is its most rugged, durable and extreme Apple Watch yet, and aims to compete directly with Garmin. This is what Garmin said in response to the Apple Watch Ultra measures battery life in “months” not “hours”. The Apple Watch Ultra starts at $799 and began shipping to customers this Friday.
