Changes since Closed Beta Testing 1

  • Garden Fixes
    • Some bugs have been fixed.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the game to freeze if you tried to log out of your profile while in Battle Hub.
  • New Feature
    • Added option to reduce input lag in graphics menu. Turning this option on shortens the space between your inputs and inputs movement happening on the screen. This is especially useful if you are using a monitor that can display at 120Hz on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
    • For the Steam version, the same effect can be achieved by turning on this option, turning off Vsync, and setting the refresh rate to 120 Hz or higher.
    • Please note that depending on the monitor, you may have some tearing.
  • Online battle
    • Behavioral Adjustments
      • Adjusted how the input delay works when the connection status causes the delay to change frequently (represented by the D value at the top of the screen) so that it will no longer decrease during the loop where it is increasing.
    • Garden Fixes
      • Fixed a communication error when viewing one battle cabinet while queuing in another cabinet, causing a black screen when the match you were watching was about to end.
      • Fixed an issue where if there was a projectile on screen in Extreme Battle and Juri attacked the explosive with Fuhajin, the projectile would be stuck in the Fuhajin animation until it disappeared.
  • Training mode
    • Garden Fixes
      • Fixed Frame Meter not working properly if you choose to restore default settings.
  • Battle Regulations
    • Some bugs have been fixed, as well as some aspects of the game related to controls and general strategy.
    • No custom character tweaks since the last Closed Beta Test.
    • Behavioral Adjustments
      • Adjusted Modern Controls so that pressing down-forward will perform heavy hit + Heavy Attack.
      • (Note that this is not listed in the in-game command list, and if you try to perform an attack currently listed in the command list, it may be different than the one that comes out.)
      • 1. Jamie – Phantom Sway
        • It appears as Down+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy in the command list, but in combat it’s done with Down-forward+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy
      • 2. Trick – Phantom Dagger
        • It appears as Down+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy in the command list, but in combat it’s done with Down-forward+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy
      • 3. Chun-Li – Water Lotus Fist
        • This move is in the command list, but if you do Down-Forward+Heavy while using the Modern control type, you’ll get Chun-Li’s Crouching Heavy Kick instead of Water Lotus Fist.
          • When performing a Super Art command such as Quarter-Circle Forward x 2 or Quarter-Circle Back x 2, the input lag going forward or backward from the bottom is now 12 frames instead of 10 frames.
        • Scoop mids that can be canceled on special attacks now take 9 frames instead of 10.
      • Garden Fixes
        • Fixed an issue where if you performed the Half Circle Forward command to perform the Quarter Circle Forward special move, you would instead receive an attack added to the “Shoryuken” command input.
      • Balance Adjustments
        • Perfect Projectile Parrying now has the same damage scale as Perfect Parrying the blow when attacking an opponent during recovery.
        • If you resume a parrying stance after Perfectly Parrying a projectile, there will be no cooldown to release the projectile if you release the projectile within a certain amount of time.
Level 1 Super Art no longer has projectile invulnerability for all characters.
      • Ryu Corrections
        • Balance Adjustments
          • Along with the invincibility change made to all Level 1 Super Arts, Ryu’s Hashogeki and Shin Hashogeki are now considered hits instead of projectiles.
    • Fixed other minor bugs related to combat.
