It features comedian Lenny Clarke and former Celtics player Kevin Garnett. WCVB’s Chronicle got exclusive access to footage of the commercial earlier this month. The theme of the ad is to imagine a “Brighter Boston” where people don’t fight over parking spaces, reflecting the company’s tweaks to the Samuel Adams recipe. “I’ve been brewing Boston Lager for almost 40 years now,” Koch told the Chronicle. “I have this image in my head, the perfect Samuel Adams, the Boston Lager, and I haven’t done it yet. So I’ve been chasing perfection for 38 (or) 39 years.” Chronicle’s behind-the-scenes look at the commercial and interview Koch will premiere in an upcoming episode.
