The first unofficial benchmark of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card has been leaked. Geekbench 5 database before starting.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Shows Powerful 60% CUDA Performance Increase Over RTX 3090 Ti in Geekbench 5 Benchmark
While NVIDIA has been feeding gamers with DLSS 3 and Ray Tracing performance numbers, there is very little information regarding the rasterization performance of their next-gen parts. We now have the first non-DLSS and non-RT benchmark leaked on the Geekbench 5 CUDA database.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 was tested on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU platform with 32 GB of DDR5-6000 DRAM, without knowing whether it was a reference Founders Edition or a custom AIB design. The graphics card offered a maximum reported frequency of around 2.58 GHz. In terms of CUDA performance, the graphics card scored 417713 points. For comparison, in the same benchmark, the RTX 3090 Ti scores only 260,346 points, while the RTX 3090 scores only 238,123 points. That’s a 60% and 75% increase over those graphics cards, respectively.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 ‘Official’ Specs – $1599 US Price
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 will use 128 SMs from 144 SMs for a total of 16,384 CUDA cores. The GPU will be packed with 96MB of L2 cache and a total of 384 ROPs, which is just insane, but given the RTX 4090’s stripped-down design, it might lower the L2 and ROP numbers a bit. Clock speeds are not yet confirmed, but given that the TSMC 4N process is used. Clock speeds are rated up to 2.6 GHz and NVIDIA requires over 3 GHz with overclocking, which you can read more about.

As for the memory specifications, the GeForce RTX 4090 will have 24 GB of GDDR6X capacities running at 21 Gbit/s over a 384-bit bus interface. This will provide bandwidth up to 1 TB/s. This is the same bandwidth as the existing RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, and when it comes to power consumption, TBP is rated at 450W. The card will be equipped with a single 16-pin connector that provides up to 600W of power. Individual models will offer higher TBP targets.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU officially launched on October 12, NVIDIA and specific card partners’ designs as they become publicly available. Proshop does not accept pre-orders, especially since there are many GPUs available.
