Written by admin

For more than two decades, CNET editors have poked, prodded, tested, retested, purposely dropped, and even stayed up all night to evaluate new products and services that promise to change the way we live and work.

Our new Editors’ Choice badge.

In 2022, our team of experts found 81 products and services across seven categories that deserve mention and, most importantly, deserve a CNET Editors’ Choice Award.

Trust me smart phoneslaptops and tablets we use every day to communicate with the routers, monitors, and other nuts and bolts that keep our digital ecosystems running, we continue to rely on technology to make sure we communicate and collaborate as easily and effectively as possible.

We’ve also done some in-depth research to find the best TVs, Bluetooth speakers, kitchen appliances, robot vacuums, software and online services, including VPNs to keep your data private and language apps for when many of you travel again.

The result of all that work led to our picks for the CNET Editors’ Choice Awards, which we’re honoring with a new badge this year and featuring in our reviews, best-of lists, product comparisons, and more. stories on our site.

Our mission, as always, is to help you navigate our changing world, whether you’re looking for top-of-the-line equipment or more affordable options. Another note: In terms of innovation, 2022 was a modest year, highlighting products that evolved to make new categories better, rather than exploding new ones.

Even so, we were happy to find four products that we think push the envelope and deserve another CNET honor: our Innovation Award, which recognizes technology that brings new and noteworthy ideas to market. Check out our list below.

We’re pleased to continue CNET’s tradition of honoring products that offer the best combination of performance, design and value. We’d love to hear about your favorites too. Find CNET on your favorite social media channel and let us know what you think.
