I’m looking at the iPhone 14 Pro as my next upgrade, finding myself unsatisfied with the terrible iPhone 13 Pro Max. But for tomorrow, there are three rumors I’m excited about: battery life, always-on display, and a 48MP camera upgrade.

One of the more plausible rumors that has surfaced recently is this claim The iPhone 14 Pro will always have an open screen.

Based on the rumors for the iPhone 14 Pro, it looks like the next generation iPhone to get – the only question is whether 6.1 inches is enough or whether you need a bigger 6.7 inch screen.

However, we don’t think you should give up on the standard iPhone 14 as a whole.

As managing editor and phone expert Philip Michaels discusses: “The importance of getting all the great things iPhone 14 promises – great cameras, solid performance, great design – without paying more for the privilege, especially when prices are flying around us.

“The iPhone 14 Pro may get some impressive upgrades, but in this environment, the iPhone 14’s attractive price may be the most attractive feature of all.”

Speaking of options and features, we’ve put together a spec chart for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max based on the rumors so far.

But one way for Apple to justify the price hike, at least for the iPhone 14 Pro, could be a new entry-level storage tier. According to some rumors, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro max will start with 256 GB of storage instead of 128 GB.
